Planomy Terms of Service

These terms cover how you may use Planomy, how the free local planner and the optional Plus subscription work, and how billing, cancellation, and account deletion are handled.

Using Planomy

Planomy is a personal financial planning tool. It is not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. You are responsible for checking assumptions, calculations, and decisions before relying on any plan.

Local-first storage

The local planner is free to use. Your planner data is stored on your device unless you choose to sign in and sync a plan. You are responsible for keeping your device and exports secure.

Cloud sync

If you use cloud sync, Planomy stores encrypted planner blobs in Supabase. Encryption and decryption happen in the browser before data is sent to Supabase when cloud encryption is enabled. Keep your passphrase and recovery key safe; Planomy cannot recover them for you.

Paid plans

The free tier includes the full local planner — projections, plan-vs-actual budgeting, every calculator, and JSON export and import — stored on your device with no account required. The Plus tier adds encrypted cloud sync across devices, plan sharing with a partner or advisor, and monthly progress nudges, along with priority support. Paid billing is handled by Stripe Checkout and the Stripe Customer Portal.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your Plus subscription at any time from the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep Plus access until then, and you will not be charged again after that period ends.

Because Plus access continues through the end of the period you already paid for, we do not provide partial refunds for unused time in a billing period. If you believe you were charged in error or have an exceptional circumstance, contact support@planomy.net and we will review it.

Account deletion

Deleting your account cancels any active Stripe subscription on the server before deleting your cloud data. If subscription cancellation fails, account deletion stops and you will be shown a support path instead of being left with an orphaned subscription — your account and data are not deleted until cancellation succeeds.

Availability

Planomy is provided as-is. We may change or discontinue cloud services, pricing, or paid features with reasonable notice where practical.
